Stithians Public Access Defibrillator

There are currently three public access defibrillators maintained by our group.

Where they are:

Located outside the entrance to The Surgery in Crellow Lane.
(what3words address    often.confining.melts)

Located at Stithians Bowling Club alongside the public footpath.
(what3words address   rejoiced.luxury.showcase)

Located at The Bandroom, East Road.
(what3words address  vowel.swoop.heartened)

The cabinets are monitored via Internet connection to make sure they are always in a state of readiness.  They are also visually inspected fortnightly.

Available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

When someone calls 999 the Ambulance Control provide the location and the simple unlock code so that the nearest PAD can be collected for use.

Easy to use for anyone over 7.

There is a unit at the Showground which is available when there are events at the Showground. This unit is financed by Stithians Agricultural Association Ltd.

The fund raising and installation is organised by an informal committee of local people who continue to be responsible for the funding of the annual maintenance charge. See the menu item fundraising for more information.

For more information or to discuss assisting with fund raising or making donations please contact Yvonne Toms   01209 860402  or defibrillator@stithians.org

The Defibrillators have been provided via fundraising and a generous donation - see the fundraising menu item for more information and how YOU can help us to maintain the units.

We need your support to help pay the annual maintenance charges for these units.

Further fundraising is needed to pay for the ongoing maintenance and also to provide further units within the community.
