Public Access Defibrillator Unit for Stithians.

This could save your life, the life of one of your family, friends or neighbours in Stithians.

The initial cost of the defibrillator has been raised and the equipment has been installed at teh Doctors' Surgery in Crellow Lane.

We will need to raise about £400 per year maintenance for the foreseeable future.

Tthe unit is:

Available for use from a central location in the village (The Surgery in Crellow Lane).

Monitored via internet connection.

Available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Ambulance Service unlock remotely after 999 call, then stay on line to caller to support.  Easy to use for anyone over 7.

Fundraising was initially carried out via FLEET (Frontline Emergency Equipment Trust) who have done so much to ensure all ambulances in Cornwall are well equipped and carrying the same equipment.

For the future the fundraising will be on a local basis.
